Elemental is seeking a passionate self-starter to join its Growth and Navigator teams as Partnerships Analyst. In this role, you will build internal organizational systems and provide operations and analytical support to enable both teams’ work with entrepreneurs, corporates, and a variety of philanthropic partners. The ideal candidate is passionate about building partnerships and excited to drive research, deepen data intelligence, and create systems to nurture relationships. You’ll be a key part of keeping our philanthropic, corporate partnerships, and fundraising operations running efficiently. 

This position will report to the Head of Development and will work closely with the Navigator Team. The role will also be tasked with determining and supporting cross-functional projects and opportunities within the greater team.

Key Responsibilities Include:                         

  • Support philanthropic and corporate partners as needed, including collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial and technical data
  • Maintain prompt and professional correspondence with external parties re program updates, action item progress, and appointments
  • Assist with the planning and execution of Philanthropy and Navigator events, and help ensure an outstanding experience for entrepreneurs, partners, and funders
  • Assist in due diligence and vetting process for partners including conducting research to source partners and funders to engage with Elemental 
  • Track sector, industry, philanthropic, and startup trends and provide intel back to the team
  • Synthesize monthly reports about progress and wins from the Growth and Navigator portfolios
  • Coordinate and address action items, questions, and challenges for the Growth and Navigator teams
  • Assist with contracting and payment processes
  • Collect and analyze data regarding the effectiveness of projects and pitches 
  • Conduct market research and competitive landscape analysis across sector, industry, philanthropic, and startup trends and turn that into advice about partnerships and donors to pursue, speaking opportunities, partnership offerings, and pipeline recruitment/diligence

Qualifications                        

Minimum Qualifications:                              

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience working at an analyst level or in data or project management 
  • Outstanding organizational skills and follow-through
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Passionate about establishing and improving processes and workflows in the name of increased efficiency
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to build interpersonal relationships
  • Experience working with and/or engaging diverse stakeholders
  • Team-oriented approach and ability to work effectively in fast-paced teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Creative and proactive in solving problems

Preferred Qualifications:                                                                                     

  • Experience in one of our sectors: energy, mobility, agriculture, circular economy, water or social justice 
  • Experience in one of our key stakeholder groups: philanthropy, finance, cities/government, or technology

Other Details:                                                                               

We will consider candidates located in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi or the Bay Area, California. Elemental has a hybrid working model, but will be expected to be available remotely during HQ working hours, and when in-person work resumes be able to commute to one of our HQ locations: Honolulu, Hawaiʻi or East Palo Alto, California.

Compensation & Benefits

Elemental Excelerator offers a competitive salary based on the organization’s compensation philosophy, which is grounded in market data. We also offer comprehensive health & welfare benefits and top of the market paid time off. This is a full-time "at-will" position working 40 hours per week.
